Times have changed, we’ve changed with them
Most pre-schools still use an education system that was first designed over 200 years ago. That’s a time when the USA had only just gained independence from England, the Constitution was still brand new, and people still got about on horses, wagons and, if you were lucky, very early trains. In those 200 years, the world has moved on a bit. We have cars now, and bullet trains, and drones that can carry parcels to your door. We’ve passed through the industrial age, the space age and the age of the internet. We’ve built computers, sent probes to Mars, and created technology that gives us all the information we could ever need in the palm of our hands.
So much has changed, yet when it comes to education, things are still very much stuck in the 1800s.
